At Emali Early Learning Centre, the safety and wellbeing of children always comes first.

Our belief in providing safe, high-quality care means continually investing in our people, their knowledge and their professional development. Ongoing training and upskilling ensures our educators remain confident, well equipped and informed about current best practices, helping them provide the highest quality care to children every day.

As part of our partnership with SIDS and Kids South Australia, our team continues to participate in Safe Sleep training sessions, refreshing our knowledge and practical skills around safe sleep best practices for babies and young children.
Take a look at how we facilitate ongoing training through the video below:

Safe sleep is an important consideration both within early learning environments and at home. Training and refresher opportunities like this allow our educators to keep their skills up-to-date, ask questions and strengthen their confidence in applying best-practice guidance in the environments where they care for children.

For Emali, the value of training extends beyond our centres. When our educators have the knowledge and confidence to support families by discussing important safety practices, sharing that knowledge and allowing it to trickle down into the home and wider community. We see education as an important part of our responsibility to advocate for the safety and wellbeing of children wherever they are cared for.

We are also proud to support local organisations such as SIDS and Kids SA, whose work helps keep important child safety messages visible, accessible and understood within our community. As a locally owned and operated organisation, we value partnerships with fellow local organisations whose work aligns with our commitment to protecting and supporting babies, young children and families.

Our partnership with SIDS and Kids SA is one example of how we can work together to strengthen awareness, share knowledge and contribute to safer environments for children.
