Welcome to Emali Early Learning Centre’s Swim School - currently available as a complimentary extra-curricular program to children enrolled at our Emali Salisbury centre!
Our engaging swimming lessons are designed to foster holistic development in young children, enhancing their physical, motor, and cognitive skills, as well as an understanding about water safety.

With almost 90% of Australia’s population living in close proximity to the coast and with 1 in 7 households owning a pool, access to water has shaped the lifestyle and culture of many families being blended into everyday life for health, wellbeing, relaxation, fun and more. This is why ensuring young children and families have easy, cost-effective access to swimming lessons and water-safety knowledge is so important.

Establish safe water habits for your child!

Each child will enjoy a permanent weekly class with our dedicated trained instructor, promoting confidence around water, supportive encouragement, and the development of self-esteem through swimming skills. Safety is our top priority, which is why we incorporate Emali's Water Safety Program into our curriculum to teach vital skills for staying safe in and around water. Goggles and an Emali swimming towel are provided to each child, so the only items required are swimming bathers and a change of clothes.

Adding Convenience & Value For Families

We are excited to offer complimentary 30-minute swimming lessons for children aged 3+ years and older who are enrolled in childcare at Emali Salisbury.Participation in Emali Swim School classes are fully-included as part of your child’s enrolment, saving time and money while strengthening your child’s learning & access to essential skills.

Learning Levels & Ages

Classes begin for children 3+ years of age and are welcome to participate from any experience level. Our Swimming Instructor will establish the child’s swimming confidence and capabilities in a one-on-one or small-group setting (depending on the child’s experience), gradually building their skills as they learn and progress through each level.

Emali’s Water Safety Program

At Emali Early Learning Centre, the safety of our children is paramount. Through our Swim Safety Program, Emali aims to instill a strong sense of water safety awareness in children, empowering them to enjoy aquatic activities safely and responsibly.Our comprehensive Swim Safety Program is divided into two key components: the Out of Water Safety and the In Water Safety, ensuring that children are well-equipped with essential water safety knowledge and skills.
